Training Courses

The heart of Jubilee Church Maidstone as a resource church is to develop mature disciples and to train leaders. This is to be a priority if we are to see the body of Christ rise up in the nations. The lack of practical equipping has created a situation where much of the church relies heavily on theoretical training and has neglected practical mentoring and character development.

We want to encourage each one to take advantage of the practical equipping modules we have developed. The courses have been designed to challenge, grow and provoke you to action. They will give you valuable skills and the relevant 'know how' to powerfully impact your generation. We need to remember that this equipping is always a 'means to an end' and never an end in itself. Our heart is to raise up men and women of stature, character and faith, called by God for such a time as this.

	equipping track The Jubilee Equipping Track is part of our strategy to develop every believer as a minister of the gospel. The courses presented are designed to grow everybeliever in their faith, prepare them for good works of service, develop their leadership skills and release them to fulfil their specific calling.Courses include: Foundational Doctrines, Financial Freedom, Church Government, Practical Ministry Training, Positioned for Blessing and the Leadership Training School.
	year of training Year of Training is a dynamic year of preparation for life and ministry and is perfect for those who have just left school, before they have chosen a study or career path. It also caters for those who are at a turning point in their lives. All our theoretical equipping is followed up by practical application. There is also ongoing discipleship as the students share accommodation with their course leaders. This course also provides credits towards a BA Theology degree.
	leadership training school The Leadership Training School is a three-week course aimed at developing a deeper understanding of leadership and leadership skills. Week One deals with "What is a Godly leader?", Week Two focuses on the character of a leader and Week Three on practical leadership principles.
	financial freedom Kingdom economics form a vital part of our understanding if we are to experience true community transformation. This course is an in-depth study of God's principles relating to kingdom finance. It deals with the core values that shape the basis for good stewardship. Our attitude, understanding and the choices we make in this area of our lives are crucial to building the capacity within us if we are to become a conduit of blessing within our local church and further afield.
	boundaries in marriage This series will show couples how to apply important boundary principles to building a strong marriage in which "two become one" without compromising their integrity, freedom or truth. The course covers the handling of conflict, establishing healthy communication, solving problems and dealing with the struggle of differing needs. Working these things out is all part of the process of knitting two souls together.
	divorce care This is a practical divorce recovery programme developed in the USA. The course consists of 13 sessions on video, covering 13 different divorce related topics. After each session the course facilitators encourage a group discussion concerning the video and how to apply the principles to the individual's current situation.
	youth ministry training This three-day course equips anyone called to work with the youth of today. It covers practical leadership, imparting vision, impacting the youth culture, working with parents, developing and multiplying youth cells and the youth workers' relationship with local church leadership.
	growing kids God's way Growing Kids God's Way is a comprehensive, values-based, parenting program. This course teaches parents to reach the hearts of their children with virtues and values that flow from the character of God. Some of the topics addressed are: raising secure children, building family loyalty and identity, developing in your child moral sensibility and personal self-control without stressing the child or parent.
	church planting school This course deals with all the practicalities of church planting, the development of a Godly vision and strategy, as well as team building prior to the launch of the plant. In our desire to see churches planted, we need to ensure that the team members have had adequate equipping to plant out successfully.
	cell church training This course encompasses the releasing of vibrant cell groups for ministry, equipping and releasing new leaders, effective implementation of change in your church, developing the ethos of "each member a minister", developing a heart for relational evangelism, how to transition to a cell structure, creating ownership for a new strategy with key leaders and members, outreach, prayer, leadership and momentum.
	understanding local church leadership Understanding local church leadership is a course that gives us a biblical look at leadership, authority and biblical submission within the local church. It is a two-day equipping track course vital for every believer. We cover the following: Church government, Ministry gifts, Elders & Deacons, the set man and the relationship between leadership and the body.
	creative arts academy This three-month full-time school equips the student in dance, drama and worship. The course also examines the character of the student and equips each one to be an effective communicator of the gospel. The course includes practical subjects such as principles of preaching, sound and media, vocal training, musicianship, worship leading as well as being involved with an evangelistic production.
	living worship The Father seeks worshippers who will lay down their lives and worship Him in spirit and in truth. The course, Living Worship, will deepen your understanding of the lifestyle of worship. It develops within the student a greater desire for intimacy as well as the confidence of outward expression.
