Building Relationship, Developing Kingdom

We are sons and daughters sold out for our King and His Kingdom and are committed to seeing people equipped, raised and released into their kingdom purpose. We desire to show the world our Fathers heart, daily making a difference by building natural, organic relationships and reaching out to those in need.  We work hard, play hard, laugh loudly and love deeply. In Zest we live life big!

Zone Pastors

chris and shaeChris and Shae Williams

Chris and Shae moved to Maidstone in 2004 to do ‘Year of Training’ through the Jubilee Training Centre. After this they joined the Training Centre staff team at Jubilee Church, later pioneering ‘School of the Word’ and the more recent ‘Young Entrepreneurs Business School’. Their desire is threefold: firstly, to see people come to wholeness and maturity, secondly, seeing this and the next generation equipped, raised and released to see His Kingdom established across the globe, and lastly, to see families, communities and nations living and working together in godly order.

Chris is from Wales and Shae from South Africa, where they were married in 2002. They have two sons, Ethan and Seth who are both a wild bundle of energy and delight - and almost as loud and energetic as their dad! Chris and Shae long to see that level of fun, noise and life spill out into every sphere of life

ralf and danielaRalf and Daniela Helfrich

Ralf and Daniela are another import from Germany. Not long after Ralf graduated from Year of Training in 2005, Daniela moved to Maidstone as well to marry him and live happily ever after!

As Music has always been his passion, Ralf started a music business a few years ago. Now he works as a music teacher (together with his very loud puppet Lulu) in local primary schools and teaches guitar and piano privately.
Daniela runs Restoring Hands, the local community arm of Jubilee. She is passionate to see how meeting the needs of people in a practical way makes God’s love tangible outside the church body.

The motto of Ralf and Daniela’s home and life is “eat-pray-love” (alright, they kind of stole that from Julia Roberts' movie) but they really...
...love to eat - because it’s the time to share food, lives and hearts.
...love to pray - because they want to bring heaven to earth.
...love - because it’s the very essence of their God, the only thing that makes life worth living.

Cell Leaders

Ben and Laura

Laura Blakely and Imogen Newlands

Laura is from Northern Ireland but has also lived in China and South Africa, as well as all over the UK. She loves running marathons, water sports and anything that involves building relationships with people. She is passionate about seeing, particularly women, come to wholeness and find their God-given destiny and seeing lives transformed in the same way God has transformed hers.

Imogen was born and bred in Kent but has lived in various places throughout her life. It was while living in Ireland that God began to arrest her heart and brought her back to Kent and back to Him. Imogen joined Jubilee in 2010 and decided to do Year of Training in 2011, to get serious with God, to find healing, wholeness and purpose in Jesus. In cell life Imogen wishes to see Maidstone impacted that cell can be a safe place for people to come with questions, but mostly that they feel they are a part of a family that unconditional love is found in Jesus.

Mat and KateMat and Kate Edwards

Mat was born and brought up in Zimbabwe and has lived in the UK since May 1999. He has enjoyed a very varied work life and has several wild ideas that make his wife very nervous!

Kate grew up in the UK and has spent time living in Germany and Malaysia. She is a marmite fanatic and has 4 sisters and her parents all living in Maidstone! Mat & Kate met at a Kent Christian festival called Detling in August 2003.

Mat had just completed Year Of Training during which Jesus changed his life completely! Before they got married in July 2005, Kate also did the yearlong course at the Jubilee Training Centre. Currently, Mat is a personal and social development tutor in an adult prison and Kate is a part time primary school teacher and a full time mum! They have a daughter Grace and two sons Jude and Isaac. They love being parents and share a deep desire to raise their children God’s way and to build family units that are a blessing and an influence within communities. For them, cell life is a further expression of that!

Graham and BettinaGraham and Bettina Saunders

Graham and Bettina are originally from South Africa and moved to the UK in 2002. After living in various locations in Kent, their hearts led them to Maidstone after having joined Jubilee in 2009. They are proud parents to two very lovable, laughter filled boys, Daniel and Joshua. They were drawn to Jubilee by the sense of family they felt on their first visit and a sense of excitement as the Holy Spirit was clearly alive within the family of Jubilee. Graham works in the area of Audio Visual technologies. He has a real interest for all things 'techi' and loves exploring the outdoors. Being a dad has really shown Graham just how precious our Father's love is for all His children. Bettina has a background in social care but has retrained to become an Antenatal teacher. Her passions are to support individuals and couples through one of their biggest life-changing events when a child comes along as well as to be a blessing to others, helping them step-by-step in their walk of knowing who they really are in Christ.

Will and LydiaWill and Lydia Moore

Will and Lydia are originally from Sussex, Will and Lydia are British to the core! They met at school at the tender age of 16 and it was love at first sight. After a move to Maidstone in 2002, they have been involved in Jubilee life for a number of years. Lydia is passionate about art in all forms, but particularly photography, Will is a massive geek and self-appointed Apple guru!

Their cell revolves around 3 core values - Jesus, (of course!), community and plenty of tea! Their desire is to see people come to wholeness through Jesus so they can impact their local community and beyond.

As true country people at heart, you will often find them rambling through the Kentish downs with a thermos and a camera in hand!

andre sharon-2011Andre and Sharon Betha

Andre and Sharon are originally from South Africa and married in 1999.  They moved to the U.K two weeks after tying the knot and continued to live in London for 9 years.  They later moved to Maidstone in 2008.

After having had the privilege of being a stay at home mom for 4 years, Sharon is now back at work doing nursing, something that she really loves best, helping people!

Andre works in finance and has a passion for music.  He is also part of ‘Stainless’, the performing arm of Jubilee Church.  They have two lovely kids, Andrew and Tatiana, who bring them both lots of joy. As a couple they want to see people set free from past hurts and believe that everyone can walk in this freedom.

Mark and Sarah

Mark and Sarah Ashdown were both brought up in Maidstone and have lived here most of their lives. They have two grown up daughters, Becky and Abby.

After a 30 year career in the Met Police Mark is now enjoying gardening for local people. Sarah works part time and is involved with the Ladies Mentoring programme which she loves because it's all about walking out real life with other women. Both Mark and Sarah have been students at School of the Word, a year-long bible study course and their desire is to see the truth of God taught, understood and lived out. Their heart is to be 'Mum and Dad', to offer a warm welcome, support and encouragement to others and to experience what it really means to see God's Kingdom come in people's lives.
